Mission
Our mission is development and systematic improvement of dynamic and multidisciplinary research environment in which research potentials will be exploited in maximum and creation of new and improvement of existing knowledge is a constant. These research environment provide excellent learning process and transfer up to date knowledge and skills to our students and enable them to become leading agricultural experts and to apply new knowledge in everyday production practice. Faculty with its research environment, education of agricultural experts and continuous development of knowledge and skills needed for lifelong education serves to the community and contributes to the development of society on the whole.
Vision
Faculty will become leading research and educational institution in the field of biotechnical sciences in the region. Until 2020 Faculty will be recognisable in certain research fields in which it will achieve excellence on international level. Faculty will be actively involved in ERA, and it will become biotechnical centre of excellence for transfer of knowledge to industry.
